Prediction for the Group F France VS Germany

France

The 2018 World champion, France has ambitions to continue their perfect performance in major tournaments. They won their qualification group with eight wins, one draw, and only one loss.

France has met Germany in the semi-finals in Euro 2016 and beat them 2-0. But they had stopped by Portugal in the final. So there would be plenty of cause for revenge this time as Portugal also is in Group F.

Les Bleus has the most talented and expensive players in the world like Griezmann, who is one of the best strikers in the world, has moved to FC Barcelona in 2019.

The same can be said of Kylian Mbappé(PSG), who won the 2018 World Cup at the age of 19. He was the tournament’s best young player because of his four goals.

There’s N’Golo Kanté(Chelsea FC), the strategist and playmaker in the midfield as well. And Karim Benzema(Real Madrid) who was absent for six years is set to play in Euro 2020.

Germany

Germany in the so-called group of death will be hoping to prove their disappointing showing at the 2018 World Cup was a mere blip.

In their qualification group, Germany won seven games and lost one game, and only conceded 7. It can be said that their attacking players are very effective, while also presenting a strong defence.

Although in recent tournaments, Germany has led to bad performances, specifically the UEFA Nations League. In the 18/19 season, Germany only got 2 points. Going into the 20/21 season, they had lost 0-6 to Spain in the group stage.

Germany coach Joachim Low has recalled World Cup winners Mats Hummels and Thomas Muller for Euro 2020 who were just two of the experienced players exiled by their manager after Germany’s disappointing 2018 World Cup exit and dismal Nations League campaign later that year.

After winning the 2018 World Cup, the young superstars of France not only keep their form but also mature much more. In contrast, the biggest problem of Germany is that it does not have a connection between the next class and the young players.
